AIRBUS CYBERSECURITY AT THE EUROPEAN CYBER WEEK 2021 IN RENNES, FRANCE
For the sixth time, Rennes will host the European Cyber Week from 16 to 18 November 2021!
This prestigious event is organised by Pôle d’excellence cyber and its partners, including Airbus CyberSecurity.
Over the course of three days, there’ll be a total of 15 events on offer, covering the hottest cyber security threats and innovations. Our cyber experts will be involved in the following sessions and initiatives:
C&ESAR CONFERENCE: 16-17 November
The C&ESAR 2021 will take place 16-17 November with a theme of “Virtualisation and Cyber Security”.
The goal of C&ESAR is to bring together governmental, industrial, and academic stakeholders interested in cybersecurity. This inter-disciplinary approach allows operational practitioners to learn about future technological inflection points, and for industry and academia to work together to convert theoretical research into operational reality.
EUROPEAN CYBER WOMAN: 16 November
The European Cyber Woman is an event that will raise awareness of the importance of eliminating the current gender gap in cyber. In addition to looking at actionable solutions to hire and retain women, the programme will profile high achieving women currently working in the cyber sectorsecurity, defence and other sectors working in cyber security, defence, industry, and other sectors.
CAPTURE THE FLAG: 17 November (Student challenge)
The live final of the ultimate challenge for European cyber security students! Watch as they battle to resume vaccine production as quickly as possible by stopping a simulated wave of cyber-attacks hitting pharmaceutical companies.
The qualification phase for this challenge has already begun. The top 48 participants will be divided into 12 teams made up of four participants, will have the opportunity to compete in the final, organised by Airbus CyberSecurity, Thalès and Diateam.
Once again, the challenge will be hosted on Airbus CyberSecurity’s CyberRange training platform. The platform’s high-performance servers will host and launch multiple virtualised and hybrid training information systems in parallel.
Who can participate?
Higher education students, from France and five other European countries: Belgium, Estonia , Finland, Germany and Spain.
How to join?
- Pre-registration phase: From 25 September 2021
- Qualification phase: Online, starting from 8 October 2021
- Final phase: 17 November at Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes
CAID CONFERENCE: 18 NOVEMBER
The third edition of CAID (Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Defence) will be held on Thursday, November 18, in Rennes.
Dedicated to the applications of artificial intelligence in the defence sector, this conference brings together the best state, industrial and academic players in the field.
