More than 30% growth for Airbus CyberSecurity

For the second year in a row, we grew by more than 30% in 2019. This growth represents at least twice the average growth rate of the global cyber security market.[1] We are truly proud of this achievement in such a competitive market where the threat landscape and the overall supply chain are changing at a breath-taking pace.

More than 30% growth for Stormshield

Our French subsidiary Stormshield also showed outstanding results in 2019 with more than 30% profitable growth as well. This performance comes in pair with the Stormshield strategy update to focus more on companies and organisations operating in OT and critical IT environments.

Record number of Research and Development projects

With 28 different innovation projects, last year marked a milestone for our Research and Development strategy, particularly in the fields of industrial security, connected objects in the IoT and IIoT universes, and encryption. This year, we are also focusing on AI applications, more information here.

PDIS Certification in France

On November 2019, we received the PDIS (Prestataire de Détection d’Incidents de Sécurité – Security Incident Detection Service Provider) certification from the National Cybersecurity Agency of France, ANSSI. We are now part of a small group of only five companies that are currently accredited PDIS. On top of this, we are the only company to go through the updated PDIS qualification process so far!

OT portfolio update

In June 2019, we updated our OT portfolio for industrial cyber security. Utilising our experience from protecting our own OT assets, we provide a complete offering to allow our customers to assess, protect and manage their OT environment and to achieve the CyberResilience for Tomorrow they need.

New business partnerships

As a great news never comes alone, we signed two business partnerships in 2019 with strategic cyber companies and universities.

In October 2019, we signed a joint agreement with Thales to offer a comprehensive cyber threat detection solution. As European leaders in critical information systems and cyber security, this agreement allows us to combine our sovereign products: Thales’s cyber-attack detection system Cybels Sensor and our Orion Malware platform.

On November 2019, we signed a cyber-training agreement with ORSYS. This agreement provides ORSYS with our CyberRange training and simulation platform to advance its services offering.

New university partnerships ahead

Last but not least, we signed several partnership letters of intent in France with the following universities: l’université de Rennes 1, l’ISEN de Lille, l’ISEN de Brest, l’IMT de Lille Douai, la Centrale Supélec, l’ENSTA Bretagne, l’Efrei Paris, l’université de Bretagne Sud, l’Enssat, l’ESIEA et le groupe ESEO. As an industry, working closely together with schools and universities will allow us to further collaborate in terms of cyber security innovations and training for the future generation of cyber security specialists.
